Caramel will predictably suck, but a movie about Lebanese lesbians is too precious to pass. Perhaps I will see Rahma the Bellydancing instructor there, for sure.

The late show on October 6 is completely blank: I may even end up seeing The Edge of Heaven. Hopefully there will be some attractive Turkish women that will redeem the inevitable train wreck that the movie is aiming to be. Attractive Turkish women - that's all you get in a Fatih Akin movie unfortunately.

Paranoid Park definitely warrants a ticket purchase. Perhaps the de Palma as well - which I will have to monitor as days progress. I am mildly worried about the Breillat on Tuesday night, because I will be coming from my salsa class around 8 PM. There is a feasible chance that crowds will swarm into the VISA screening room to see Asia Argento. Potentially there will be those with literary frames of mind demanding an accurate adaptation. Knock the frames out, people. This is cinema, not literature.
